Who we are
FASTION is operated by FASTION WAREHOUSE LTD (Company No. 17281004, registered office: Unit C, Blackett Street, Manchester M12 6AE), contactable at contact@fastion.uk. We're the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
- Email address — when you join the waitlist or create an account.
- Name, shipping address, billing address — when you place an order.
- Payment information — collected and processed by Shopify Payments at checkout; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Order history and saved items — tied to your account.
- Basic usage analytics — pages visited, source of traffic, device type. Anonymous and aggregated.
- Marketing preferences — what you opted into, when, and from which page.
Why we collect it
To fulfil orders, run the site, send you transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications), send marketing emails if you opted in, and understand which parts of the site work.
Legal basis (UK GDPR)
- Contract — fulfilling orders and providing the service.
- Consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies.
- Legitimate interest — basic analytics, fraud prevention.
- Legal obligation — keeping tax records for HMRC.
Who we share it with
- Shopify — store platform: your account, orders, checkout and payment processing (Shopify Payments).
- Puppet Vendors — routes each order line to the vendor who ships it (your name and delivery address only).
- Brevo — email marketing and transactional emails.
- Netlify — site hosting.
- PostHog — privacy-first analytics, EU servers, no cookies, no cross-site tracking.
- Vendors — your name and shipping address only, only for orders containing their items.
- Stripe — vendor payouts only. Stripe never handles buyer data.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Vendors
If you apply to sell on FASTION we collect your name, brand, email, Instagram handle and what you tell us in the form, and hold it while your application is open and for as long as you sell with us. If you're accepted, Stripe collects your identity and bank details directly to pay you — we never see them. Vendor order data (what sold, to whom, where it ships) is visible to you in your vendor dashboard for your own orders only. We won't add you to marketing emails unless you tick the box. To have your application data deleted, email contact@fastion.uk.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Request a copy of all data we hold on you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time for marketing and non-essential cookies.
- Complain to the ICO if you think we've handled your data badly — ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these, email contact@fastion.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
Retention
Marketing emails — until you unsubscribe. Order records — six years (UK tax law). Account data — until you delete the account.
International transfers
Some processors operate outside the UK (Shopify in Canada, Brevo in the EU, Netlify and Stripe in the US). Where data leaves the UK it's covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses.
