What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a site. Some make the site work, some help us understand how it's used, some support marketing.
What we use
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Store-entry flag, your cookie choice, bag, favourites and sign-in on this site; checkout and account cookies on warehouse.fastion.uk and account.fastion.uk (Shopify) | Always on — required |
| Analytics | Page views, traffic source, device type — cookieless. Held in memory for the page visit, nothing written to your device, no cross-site tracking | On, unless you choose "Essential only" or your browser sends Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control |
| Marketing | We set no marketing or advertising cookies | None |
Third parties
- Shopify — essential cookies for checkout and your account, on warehouse.fastion.uk and account.fastion.uk.
- PostHog — analytics, EU-hosted, cookieless.
- Brevo — email signup forms. Sets nothing on this site.
- Netlify — site hosting.
Your choice
You picked once, on the banner. Change it here:
Clears your answer and shows the banner again.
How to turn them off
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Here are the docs:
Note that blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site — most visibly, you'll be sent back to the coming-soon page every visit because the access flag won't persist.
Do Not Track
We honour browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. When either is on, analytics doesn't load — no button needed.
