You’re early. Most of Vol. 01 is groundwork — the people we want to write about, the standards we’re holding ourselves to, the way we’ll cover things going forward. All of it is the opening of a working record of UK festival and rave culture, told from inside it, not above it. The good stuff is on its way.
The Journal isn’t being built alone. We’re after writers, photographers, and contributors who already know the scene — people in the room, not industry observers. If you’ve got a profile of a vendor doing something interesting, a write-up of a night worth remembering, an essay on a piece you can’t stop wearing, or a sharp take on where festival and rave fashion is heading — send it to oliver@fastion.uk. We read every submission, and anything we publish goes out with your name on it. The standard isn’t set yet. Help us set it.
